Easter

Easter dinner at a friend's place.

The Colomba Pasquale (Easter Dove) is a Italian specialty in the shape of a dove - if you squint - and use your imagination. It's somewhere between a cake and a bread in texture, and has candied orange, almonds and black pepper!

(Based on the ingredients, you should be able to spot the recipe's medieval origins. If not, shame on you. You haven't been reading the CC carefully enough.)

I understand you want to get close, use a large exposure to avoid a flash etc. etc. but come one - you could use your photography skills to get 6 inches of focal depth?

Go take a look at Gourmet (does it exist?) one more time.

It's there for a reason.
