The CC has been in absentia for a while. Life sometime gets in the way. But he's back!

Here's the Thanksgiving menu chez CC:

Acorn Squash stuffed with wild mushrooms

Pear, chanterelles & prosciutto stuffing

Fingerling potatoes with figs & thyme

Brussel sprouts with pomegranate vinegar, black walnuts & pomegranates

Pears poached in red wine with stilton

For us ...

Braised turkey thighs with a garnish of butternut squash. (contains half a pound of pancetta)

Brussel sprouts roasted with a balsamic vinegar and seasonal herbs

Creamed chard

Buttermilk bread rolls

Pumpkin and apple pie served with homemade nutmeg ice cream
