These are my favorite mushrooms. Wonderful in stews.
I love these mushrooms... so rich and meaty.
I'll admit, I've never even seen this mushroom until now.
They make terrific tempura-style fries with just salt and pepper.
As said, not sure why these are not a lot more popular.
